CHARLESTOWN, RICHMOND, AND HOPKINTON RESIDENTS
CHARIHO BOND REFERENDUM VOTER INFORMATION

 

Bring a valid, unexpired photo ID to the polls.

Acceptable photo ID’s include:
RI Driver’s License
U.S. Passport
State of RI or U.S. government-issued ID card
U.S. military ID card
ID card from an educational institution in the U.S.
Government-issued medical card
Native American Tribal ID card
RI Voter ID card  
                                      

If you don’t have a valid photo ID, voters can obtain a free Voter ID card. Find out more about Voter ID by calling 222-2340 or visit www.sos.ri.gov.

In order to register to vote in Hopkinton, you must:

Be a United States citizen
Be a resident of the Town of Hopkinton
Be at least 16 years old (You must be at least 18 years old to vote)
Not be in a correctional facility upon a felony conviction

 

Be advised:

In order to cast a ballot in an election, a person must be registered to vote at least 30 days prior to the election.  Voter registration forms should be printed, completed, and mailed or delivered to the Hopkinton Town Hall located at 1 Town House Road, Hopkinton, RI 02833.  Emailed forms will not be accepted.  The April Chariho Budget Referendum and the June Town Budget Referendum are held in the Hopkinton Town Hall Meeting Room, 1 Town House Road, Hopkinton, RI 02833.
